Silica-red composite heat-insulating bricks

Silica composite brick is a kind of firebrick composed of two parts: working layer and heat insulation layer. The working layer is made of bauxite and silicon carbide as the main raw materials, and the thermal insulation layer is made of low thermal conductivity aluminum silicate material by high pressure molding and sintering process, and the joint surface between the two parts is uneven to form a composite brick.

  • Description
  • Silica composite brick is a kind of firebrick composed of two parts: working layer and heat insulation layer. The working layer is made of bauxite and silicon carbide as the main raw materials, and the thermal insulation layer is made of low thermal conductivity aluminum silicate material by high pressure molding and sintering process, and the joint surface between the two parts is uneven to form a composite brick.

The working layer has the characteristics of high resistance to erosion, strong resistance to spalling, and not suitable for hanging kiln skin at high temperature.

The thermal insulation layer has the characteristics of low thermal conductivity, which can achieve the dual functions of reducing the carrier temperature, saving energy and reducing consumption, and can greatly extend the service time of the rotary kiln.
