Working Condition Analysis
The clinker cooler uses air to quickly cool the hot clinker leaving the kiln, thus stabilizing the C3S clinker phase and achieving high efficiency levels. The cooled air passes through the clinker at right angles so that the air absorbs its heat energy. Through the kiln hood, this recovered heat is transferred to the rotary kiln as secondary air, or through a tertiary duct as tertiary air.
The clinker is then delivered to the crusher via a push grate, a fixture or a walking table principle.
